  • Three newly created senior leadership roles
  • Based in Auckland with strategic responsibility for a portfolio of operational sites
  • Attractive salary and benefits package including company vehicle

NZ Post is an iconic Kiwi organisation with a rich history and an exciting future ahead. Sure, mail volumes are on the decline but our parcel business is booming. In fact, our peak period volume increased by 18% last year and is set to be even bigger this year. We are committed to making sure nothing gets in the way of delivering what our customers care about and optimising our extensive network to connect Kiwis with each other, and the world.

Right now, we're recruiting three newly created senior leadership roles, reporting to NZ Post's General Manager, Customer Service Delivery (Northern Region). As a Regional Service Delivery Manager, you will provide support and direction to a team of Area Managers and lead operational, financial and strategic management and planning for your designated region.

Key to your success will be the ability to motivate and engage your people and foster a high-performance culture. NZ Post is in the midst of transformation and industry disruption, so your background will demonstrate effective leadership in dynamic, changing environments. These roles work “on the business, not in the business” so we require senior leaders who can take a big picture view. You'll need a high degree of commercial acumen, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to plan, scope and measure the success of strategic initiatives and projects. You're a strategic thinker, but you also know how to solve practical problems and get results.

These new roles are a brilliant opportunity to make a positive impact on service performance, people engagement and future strategy for NZ Post's northern region. You'll benefit from the coaching of our high performing executive team and have the opportunity to continue developing your leadership career with one of NZ's largest employers.

Apply today or visit NZ Post's Careers site, www.nzpost.co.nz/careers to download the JD. If you require further information, contact Yvette Knight (Talent Sourcing Specialist) on 0275463148.

Applications close on Friday 3rd May 2019.

All applicants will be required to provide proof of their eligibility to work in New Zealand. Appointees will be subject to a security check and may be required to undertake drug, alcohol and / or credit checks.
