What does the role do?

Make decisions and be accountable for them! The purpose of the role is to lead container asset management, nationally, and manage cost. You'll liaise with stakeholders to ensure demand cycles for container requirements are matched, repairs and maintenance is carried out or new containers are procured.

You get to decide what's important to spend time on, and then plan, organise and complete activities. There's a methodical component here too, analysing and processing data and assisting with reporting.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for people experienced in the freight/transport industry that might also have industry training. You'll have a minimum of three years in a support role or office environment and a be a strong administrator, proficient with the MS office suite, Adobe and possibly CHEP.   This is a role for operational folk, who have a strategic eye and enjoy analytical thinking.

You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to interact well with others and provide support to ensure the smooth running of your business function. In return, we'll give you opportunity, development and the chance to make a significant difference in an organisation undergoing transformational change.
