The New Face of New Zealand Post is Coming to a Location Near You – are you ready?

  • We're evolving!  Many of our Posties are now called Delivery Agents
  • You may have seen our Paxsters in your neighbourhood - check out the link to find out more about driving our Paxsters!
  • You will be driving a Paxster around the streets of Gisborne

So why Delivery Agents?

We're embracing change.  As the world of mail shifts from less letters to a more parcels, we need to make sure we are still delivering the exceptional levels of delivery our customers expect.  Our Paxster vehicle allows our Delivery Agents to take up to 200kg on the road, meeting our customers face to face – delivering anything from office supplies to their online shopping or even weekly groceries.

Our Delivery Agent roles will roll out across the country over the coming months, if this location does not work for you, register your interest anyway, we'd love to get connected so you can join our team when we reach your region!

In this dynamic job you'll:

  • Enjoy interacting with our customers as you deliver their mail and parcels and collect signatures
  • Have a positive outlook and customer focus, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

You're the kind of person that loves doing a great job and getting it right every time.  You look to raise the bar when it comes to customer experience and value a ‘one team' approach to getting the job done.

If you have the following, we'd love to hear from you: 

  • An outgoing and friendly personality, able to communicate effectively and in a positive way with your team mates and customers
  • Flexibility to work on call
  • Available to work a rotating roster Monday to Saturday: 7am to 4:30pm 
  • A restricted or full New Zealand Driver's License
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Readiness for a physically demanding role – you will be working 9+ hour days, in and out of your Paxster numerous times, lifting a wide variety of packages.
