If you think mail is dead, you're wrong. Sure, old fashioned letters may be on the decline, but some of NZ Post's bulk / commercial mail volumes are increasing. In fact, we moved 540 million domestic mail units last year alone … that's a $300M business!

Right now, we're on the hunt for a Product Manager to manage the existing mail portfolio as well as building new solutions that anticipate global trends and customer demand. Effective pricing management will drive new revenue streams and improve margin, while ensuring the mail business remains relevant and sustainable. The role has a high degree of internal and external stakeholder engagement and is also responsible for maintaining physical and digital collateral for the portfolio.

Our new Product Manager is highly commercial with a sharp eye for risks and opportunities. You'll demonstrate a customer-centric mindset and a flair for creative, innovative thinking. You're an energetic person who makes things happen and brings stakeholders along on the journey in an engaging, collaborative way. In a dream world, we'd love to see postal services in your background, though we know this experience is rare - so we're keen to talk to experienced Product Managers with transferrable skills from other industries.

While the role is primarily based in Highbrook, we offer the flexibility to work from home or from office space in the CBD or suburban mail centres throughout Auckland - which should help to combat the traffic! An attractive salary is on offer and career opportunities galore in our rapidly transforming organisation.

Contact Yvette Knight (Talent Sourcing Specialist) on 09 367 9973 to find out more, or apply online today. Applications close on Friday 30th June.

All applicants will be required to provide proof of their eligibility to work in New Zealand. Appointees will be subject to a security check and may be required to undertake drug and / or credit checks.
