It's an exciting time in NZ Post's Marketing Communications team as we re-define our brand and the way we interact with our customers. We're also strengthening our digital capability and recruiting a brand new Digital Communication Specialist to develop and deliver our "always on" programme. Reporting to our newly appointed Digital Communications Manager, this role will have a focus on social media, content and optimisation of direct marketing.

We know that loads of organisations are looking for people just like you, so here's why this is the best digital marketing role in town:

1) NZ Post is an iconic Kiwi organisation. You might feel a bit nervous about our declining mail volumes, but our parcel business is booming! We're the #1 delivery partner for e-commerce and this growth presents loads of exciting opportunities for us.

2) Our Marketing Communications team is a stellar group of smart and talented marketers. You'll have the chance to learn from the best in the business, in a newly formed team who are full of creativity and energy.

3) As an SOE, what we do is meaningful and touches the lives of all New Zealanders - which means we have no shortage of beautiful stories to tell and a huge opportunity to make an impact with social media.

4) Our brand is transforming and disrupting… and while I can't tell you much more about that, there is some seriously cool stuff happening behind the scenes that you don't want to miss.

5) There are career opportunities galore - these roles will give you loads of exposure to a start-up digital marketing function and will be an incredible development opportunity for rising marketing stars.

So, who are we looking for? You'll need Digital Marketing experience, agency or in-house, and exposure to marketing automation and journey building, ideally via Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You love telling engaging stories and bringing a brand to life via social media and can switch between talking all things technical with our Digital & Tech teams, while also having an eye for quality creative. Most importantly, you have a genuine passion for what you do that will excite us from the moment we meet you!
