Digital Communications Specialist

  • High impact digital role where you will shape CRM, automation and customer lifecycle programmes across B2B and B2C audiences
  • Based in Highbrook, Auckland with hybrid working
  • Work at the intersection of data, creativity and technology in a dynamic, evolving industry

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

This is a hands-on digital role for someone who lives and breathes CRM, email and marketing automation.

You will elevate our digital communications across eDM, social, display and search, delivering measurable outcomes for both business and consumer audiences. You will build smart, data-led campaigns that reach customers at the right time, in the right way.

Working closely with Marketing, Digital, Data and Technology teams and agency partners, you will scope, build and optimise campaigns. If you enjoy turning complex information into clear customer communications and thrive on a test and learn mindset, this role will suit you.

 You'll achieve that by:

  • Shaping and contributing to CRM, direct email and customer lifecycle strategy
  • Planning and delivering integrated digital campaigns across B2B and B2C audiences
  • Building and optimising automated journeys and dynamic, data driven digital campaigns
  • Partnering with data and technical teams to scope audiences, data flows and automation requirements
  • Writing clear briefs and collaborating with agencies to produce high quality campaigns
  • Measuring performance, sharing insights and continuously improving through a test and learn approach

Mōu - About you

You are a commercially savvy digital marketer who understands how data, technology and creativity come together to drive results. You are confident working with marketing platforms, comfortable in a fast-moving environment and motivated by building smarter, more personalised customer experiences.

You enjoy collaborating across teams and are just as comfortable getting into the detail as you are stepping back to see the bigger picture.

You'll bring that together with

  • 3+ years' experience in digital marketing, marketing technology or digital communications
  • Hands on experience with CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar automation tool
  • Proven capability in building automated campaigns, audience segmentation and data-led targeting
  • A strong understanding of digital channels including email, social, SEM, SEO and analytics platforms, ideally Google Analytics
  • Confidence translating complex information into clear, customer focused communications
  • A highly organised and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail

A background in agency, client side or tech environments would all be welcome. What matters most is your curiosity about marketing technology, your confidence working with data and your drive to deliver measurable impact.
