Transactional Accounting Lead
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role As our Transactional Accounting Lead, you'll guide a high‑performing team to deliver accurate, timely, and customer‑focused transactional accounting services across the NZ Post Group. You'll oversee key areas including international mail accounting and billing, retail finance, manual sundry billing, and customer billing for Supply Chain Solutions. You'll drive the integrity of our financial information by ensuring strong internal controls, reviewing daily cash and banking reconciliations, monitoring Billpay processes, and leading the completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations. As a people leader, you'll coach and develop a tight‑knit team, fostering a positive, collaborative, future‑focused culture aligned with our strategic goals. You'll be a champion for continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, uplift financial capability, and enhance the service experience for our stakeholders across the business.
