Senior Product Manager – Parental Leave

  • Start in January 2026 and go through until end of January 2027
  • Ideally Auckland based but open to main locations in NZ
  • Work with passionate people who care about making a difference for New Zealanders

Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role

Our current Senior Product Manager is heading off on parental leave to deliver their best project yet, and we're looking for someone to step in and keep things moving while they're away.

You don't have to be a “Product Manager” to be great at this.  If you've successfully led initiatives, managed projects or change programmes, and know how to bring people together to deliver outcomes, this could be right up your alley.

In this role, you'll help keep our delivery services humming,  making sure our products and customer experiences continue to meet the needs of Kiwis who rely on us every day. You'll work closely with teams across the business (tech, operations, marketing, customer service, finance) to turn ideas into action and keep key initiatives on track.

You'll lead the Receiver squad (focused on the experience of people receiving parcels) and make sure we execute our existing plans seamlessly, while spotting opportunities to improve how we do things along the way.

Mōu – About you

You're a natural organiser and connector, someone who gets things done and brings others with you. You know how to navigate across teams, influence decisions, and make change stick.

You'll bring:

  • Experience leading projects, initiatives, or change programmes
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, you know how to build trust quickly
  • A collaborative, down-to-earth approach, you're just as comfortable in a workshop as you are working through the details
  • A balanced mindset, you understand the importance of both great customer experiences and commercial outcomes
  • Financial and commercial savvy, you're confident interpreting data, understanding the numbers behind decisions, and making sure what we deliver makes sense for both customers and the business

You'll be stepping into a solid foundation, with clear plans and supportive colleagues to help you succeed.
