Senior Digital Marketing Specialist

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

We're looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist who knows their way around customer data, CRM systems and marketing automation platforms, who can help turn traditional marketing goals into digitally enabled reality.  Using your Martech skills and know how you'll help to drive smarter campaigns, better journeys and data-led decisions.

Working as part of a broader marketing team, you'll collaborate and work with a team of experienced marketers, many of whom manage campaigns end-to-end. Your job? To provide the technical muscle behind those campaigns; connecting the data, best use of platforms and performance insights that bring them to life.

You'll work with our team of marketing experts on how to best use the tools and data to get the best results.

You'll do this by:

  • Building and optimising automated customer journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including segmentation and personalisation across digital channels
  • Advising on customer data strategy to help shape smarter, more effective lifecycle communications and campaign targeting
  • Driving continuous improvement through analytics, dashboards and Martech innovation

Mōu - About you

You'll bring a strong mix of marketing tech experience, stakeholder savvy, with the ability to turn data into action.  You're someone who's confident navigating tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud and enjoys helping others get the best from them.

You'll combine that with:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing or Martech roles (whether in-house or agency), with experience planning and delivering data-driven campaigns
  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar platforms), plus experience with tools like GA360, Meta and SEO/SEM
  • A knack for using customer data smartly to build segments, map journeys and shape campaign outcomes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills.  You're comfortable advising non-technical teams and explaining the why behind the what
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with experience leading projects and juggling multiple priorities
  • Bonus points for exposure to HTML/SQL, agile environments, or working across complex organisations or with agency partners
