![]() Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role We are currently accepting internal applications for this vacancy within our Test Automation Chapter. The purpose of this role is to design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications and integrations. Working alongside the Test Automation Chapter Lead this role plays an integral part in establishing and executing an overall Test Automation Strategy and roadmap for NZ Post. As a senior member of the Test Automation Chapter, the role will be required to mentor, guide and upskill other engineering team members and delivery team members involved in automated testing across the organisation. Mōu - About you As an ideal candidate for this role, you will have a strong grasp of the software development lifecycle, including modern quality assurance and automation practices in Agile delivery environments and an in-depth understanding of modern Test Automation products and systems. Ideally you will have 5+ years' experience operating as a Test Automation Engineer coupled with a bachelor's degree in technology or a related field. ISTQB Qualification (ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level - Agile Tester, ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level or ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Automation Engineer) is advantageous. We will also be looking for strong communication skills, and the ability to engage positively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
