Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Covering the parental leave of a permanent employee, the focus of this position will be to support the delivery of Continuous Improvement initiatives designed to assist our organisation with cost saving, service or safety improvements. Our team of CI experts work in partnership with our operational teams ensuring we have strong foundations in place for all process improvements. All of which are designed to enable us to continue building Continuous Improvement as a core capability within our organisation.

Day to day duties of this role will encompass process design, mapping and documentation creation of current state processes - always working in collaboration with stakeholders. The successful candidate for this role will also support identification and implementation of operational improvement opportunities, ensuring designed processes are continuously reviewed and improved to support the delivery of targeted outcomes. Training and facilitation will also be a key requirement of this role, providing CI coaching through both formal and informal learning opportunities.

Mōu - About you

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will be able to clearly articulate your relevant career history supporting operationally focussed environments with CI initiatives and process improvement. Your stakeholder management skills will be well honed, and partnering with a business is your preferred way of working. You also have strong problem solving and data analysis capabilities coupled with your tertiary qualification in business management, operational management or a business-related discipline and advanced level Continuous Improvement qualification such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Certification.

Ideally you will be available to commence a new role at short notice, however the start date for this role is flexible.
