Processing Officer with Forklift | Christchurch/Canterbury

PROCESSING OFFICER

• $25.46 phr + $3.21 night rate allowance from 8pm 
• Sunday to Thursday 
• Physical role - heavy lifting and Forklift experience required

Working as a Processing Officer with NZ Post, this role will see you driving a forklift on Sundays at our Syd Bradley Road Interchange.   Monday to Thursday, you'll create magic by sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels and freight ready for our couriers to deliver.   We're a lively bunch, with a diverse set of skills, but we all share one common goal - to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our beautiful Aotearoa.

You could be working in any of our products' processing areas, like preparation, manual or machine sorting, consolidation and dispatch.  You'll  identify with our 'safety first' culture and thrive in a high performing team environment.

What we need from you:

• Be available to work Sunday 3pm - 11.30pm and Monday to Thursday 5.30pm - 2am 
• Be a committed teammate, keeping yourself, others and the site safe
• Forklift certificate or F Endorsement is essential 
• Enjoy working hard and managing your time
• An eye for detail and good geographical knowledge
