Team Leader/ Nightshift Manager | Permanent Full-Time | Tauranga
We are looking for a people leader to support our processing team based at our Tauranga Depot.
In this role, you will manage the daily performance of a team of Processing Officers. Not only will you ensure the smooth operation of our shifts, but you will lead the team to get the best out of every member every day.
And of course, you will ensure the processes used by your team run smoothly so that NZ Post products and parcels are get to where they need to go on time.
With the number of parcels increasing and being a key part of our dynamic national network, this job will keep you on your toes!
The shift for this role is Sunday to Thursday from 11.00pm to 7.30am.
Key to this role is people leadership and management (of course!). Led by our Chargehand Paul, the team are a fun and hard-working bunch…who will definitely love it if you also have a passion for baking!
You will have the ability to engage well with truck drivers and contractors, as well as having a strong focus on continuous improvement and Health and Safety. You will need to be the type of leader who takes a hands-on approach, demonstrates a commitment to safety and fosters a high performing, positive team culture.
Rostering, payroll and other administrative tasks are part of the role. Holding a current forklift license would be an advantage, but is not essential.
