Delivery Agent | On Call Casual| Taranaki

Once known as the Postie, you are the “face” of NZ Post out on the street interacting with our customers.  You'll start your day sorting parcels and mail at our Taranaki Operations Centre, then go it alone on one of our Paxster or Kyburz e-vehicles on your delivery route, regardless of the weather.  Rain, hail or shine – you need to be hardy! In this on-call role,  you will be interacting with our customers and giving them a positive experience each time.  This role would suit someone who can work independently and take control of their own deadlines to get the job done. 

In this dynamic job you will:

• Be the “face” of NZ Post out on the street interacting with our customers as you deliver their mail and parcels, collect signatures, whilst ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. 
• Deliver regardless of the weather
• Keep an eye out for opportunities to improve the way we deliver our services taking on customer feedback.

Some of the key things you'll need to successfully perform this role are:

• Availability to work on-call between Monday to Saturday 7.00am– 4.25pm 
• A clean NZ drivers license – Restricted or Full
• Great coordination, dexterity and sensory skills
• Reliability and have good physical fitness 
• And a natural ability to communicate with your team mates and customers which develops trust and understanding
