Customer Communications Specialist - Fixed Term

Our current team member has gone on an internal secondment, so we are on the lookout for a Customer Communications Specialist to join us.  You'll be responsible for creating clear, timely, and accurate customer communications across multiple channels, ensuring every message not only is easy to understand, but also reflects our brand voice and values.

You'll do this through:

• Developing communication plans and leading the delivery of them across the business
• Crafting clear communications that balance both business and customer needs - specifically compliance, customer change and urgent comms
• Identify the right message for the right person, delivering cross channels including email, letters, website, collateral and more
• Translating complex or technical content into easy-to-understand, customer-friendly messaging
• Partnering with internal teams to understand needs and shape messaging strategies
• Managing communications projects from brief to delivery, juggling priorities and timelines with ease
• Responding to incidents or urgent service changes with timely, accurate messaging
• Supporting the team during peak periods or urgent incidents, with a calm, solutions-focused approach
• Contributing to broader team initiatives when needed - we're all in this together

Mōu - About you

You're a strong writer with a sharp eye for detail and a natural ability to simplify the complex. You thrive under pressure, love variety, and are just as comfortable working independently as you are collaborating with stakeholders to ensure communications are accurate and effective. Whether it's a service update, a regulatory change, or an urgent incident, you know how to deliver clear, compliant messaging that helps customers stay informed and confident.

You'll couple this with

• Strong experience in PR, corporate, or customer communications
• Exceptional writing, editing, and messaging skills
• Confidence interpreting briefs and developing communications strategies
• Proven project management skills - You know how to get things done
• Ability to juggle multiple communications, including urgent ones
• Experience applying brand tone of voice across all touchpoints
