Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We're looking for a Ways of Working Coaches to help leaders and teams work smarter, deliver better outcomes and build a culture of continuous improvement across NZ Post.
Reporting to the Head of Ways of Working, you'll work alongside Value Stream leaders, Value Domain Leads, Business Unit leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen planning, prioritisation, accountability and delivery performance. This is a highly influential role that combines coaching, facilitation and performance improvement to help teams focus on what matters most and deliver value more effectively.
You'll bring a systems-thinking approach, using data, insights and observation to identify opportunities for improvement and address organisational constraints. Working across value streams, platform.s, centres of excellence and support functions, you'll help improve flow, reduce complexity and build capability in modern ways of working that support NZ Post's future success.
You'll do that by:

You'll be an experienced Ways of Working, Agile or organisational improvement specialist who enjoys helping leaders and teams perform at their best. Comfortable operating in complex environments, you'll have the credibility and confidence to coach senior leaders, influence key stakeholders and drive meaningful change without direct authority.
You combine strong coaching and facilitation skills with a commercial mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. You're naturally curious, outcomes-focused and able to identify opportunities to improve how work flows through an organisation. You understand the balance between people, process and performance, and know how to translate insights into practical action that delivers measurable results.
You'll combine that with:
As you'll play an important role in helping leaders and teams work together more effectively, improve organisational performance and deliver better outcomes for our customers and communities, you'll also ideally be a Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner or similar Agile certification and have a professional coaching qualification.
