Supply Chain Specialist - 12-month fixed term contract
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
This is a commercially focused hands-on role at the centre of NZ Post's supply chain operations with an environmental sustainability emphasis.
In this role you'll manage end-to-end supply chains for retail and network customers, ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable flow of goods from suppliers through to our warehouses and customers. Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers you'll keep product moving, inventory balanced and service levels high.
Supply Chain Specialists are the experts within the supply chain, feeding information on how well a product is working and, where appropriate, be in direct contact with the product owner or suppliers to drive improvement.
This role offers real breadth and variety, spanning demand forecasting, inventory management, supplier and warehouse relationships and performance analysis. Your work will directly contribute to smoother operations, reduced costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

You're someone who enjoys operational detail and takes pride in keeping complex supply chains running smoothly.
You may already be in a planning, buying, or analytical role and ready to take on a broader, more influential challenge applying your experience throughout a product lifecycle. You're confident working with multiple stakeholders and naturally look for ways to improve how things are done.
