Continuous Improvement Manager
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Perfect role for a high performing Operational Excellence Manager with strong continuous improvement delivery experience (preferably with a product / logistics background).
In partnership with the wider business, you'll play a key role in driving value for the business through delivery of targeted safety, cost and service improvements across our network. Ultimately, your work will impact the uplift of our end-to-end network performance. This will be done through your identification and implementation of targeted improvement initiatives across key areas across our value chain.
Supported by a team of Operational Excellence specialists, you'll drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. Through coaching, mentoring, facilitation and application of fit for purpose CI methodologies, processes and tools, you will ultimately be growing and enabling the business around problem solving activities, building CI as a core capability for our business.
Mōu - About you
As an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager, you'll bring with you proven experience leading, managing and delivering Continuous Improvement programmes to deliver tangible business change. You'll have gained this by working in multifunctional teams or across business units, ideally in a similarly large and complex organisation like ours.
To succeed in this role, you'll be a high performing relationship manager with strong delivery experience; along with being a highly accomplished coach and facilitator and a project manager who can operate in a complex, dynamic environment. As a natural relationship builder you will have honed your communication and facilitation skills to reach audiences of all levels. You'll couple this with:
