Injury Prevention Business Partner
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
At NZ Post, keeping our people safe and well is fundamental to delivering for Aotearoa. Your focus will be to meaningfully reduce workplace injuries across key operational sites by improving how work is designed, how risks are managed and how people are supported when injuries occur.
Partnering closely with site leaders and frontline teams, you'll turn insight into action. Using data, observation and clinical expertise, you will help reshape work design, enable faster access to treatment and support return to work pathways.
While this role is based in Highbrook, your impact will be felt well beyond one site. You'll travel semi regularly to other Auckland locations to support teams on the ground, with periodic travel across the country to work alongside our wider operational network.
This is a highly autonomous role where no two days look the same. You will set priorities, build work plans and focus your effort where it will have the greatest impact on people and outcomes.
You'll do that by:
Mōu - About you
You are a clinically trained professional who understands how bodies move, how injuries happen and how workplaces can be redesigned to reduce harm. You bring strong reasoning skills, practical judgement and the confidence to challenge existing approaches.
You work well with people from all backgrounds, read the room quickly and adapt your style to build trust. You balance empathy with pragmatism and understand the realities leaders and frontline teams face every day. You're also comfortable working with ambiguity, managing your time and saying no when needed to stay focused on priorities. You are motivated by creating safer workplaces and better outcomes for people.
You'll combine that with
