OD Lead - Leadership Development

This is a career defining opportunity to lead how leadership development shows up at NZ Post.
Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development and Talent, this is a 12-month fixed term role where you'll take the lead in shaping and delivering a modern, fit for purpose leadership development ecosystem. With strong support from senior leaders and real momentum across the business, you'll help build the mindset and capability our leaders need to deliver on our strategy and culture.
We're moving beyond building the foundations, and into a phase focused on how we lead differently. That means creating practical, scalable solutions that grow adaptive, inclusive leaders and lift performance across both frontline and corporate environments.
You'll work closely with your wider OD and L&D colleagues, while partnering deeply with the business to understand what's needed and design solutions that make a real difference.
You'll do that by:

As an experienced OD practitioner, you're someone who blends strategic thinking with practical delivery. You're just as comfortable shaping a leadership strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to design and deliver solutions that work in the real world.
You build credibility quickly, bring a strong commercial lens, and know how to navigate complexity without losing momentum. You're curious, collaborative and comfortable working in ambiguity, always focused on making things better over time.
You also understand that great leadership development is not just about programmes, it's about shifting mindsets, behaviours and culture in a meaningful and measurable way.
