Our Product Owner chapter are the guardians of technology that is foundational to how our organisation operates and grows. NZ Post and our technology ecosystem are evolving in both complexity and ambition.
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Supporting our Consumer team, we're looking for a strategic, tech-savvy leader who can turn big ideas into impactful outcomes. As a Senior Product Owner with us, you'll shape the evolution of the platforms and products that keep NZ Post moving - from concept to delivery and beyond. You'll lead in high complexity domains, across multiple squads and/or technologies. Specifically, this role supports our Consumer Team – the people tasked with making sure we are customer centric, and always the first choice for anyone wanting to send parcels within NZ.

This is a newly created role, which requires the skill and expertise of a truly experienced Senior Product Owner. We are on the hunt for a seasoned professional who would like to take their skills and apply them into a fast paced, evolving and complex organisation. If you've supported a Consumer team before – even better!!
Mōu - About you
You're a seasoned senior product leader who thrives at the intersection of vision, delivery, and stakeholder influence. You know how to connect big-picture goals with on-the-ground action - and you're equally comfortable shaping roadmaps, coaching teams, and making tough trade-off calls. You'll be able to clearly demonstrate strong commercial acumen, balancing customer value, business goals, and technical effort to inform prioritisation and investment decisions.
