Digital Product Owner - 12 month fixed term opportunity
Our Digital team is a diverse and talented bunch who design and develop digital products and services for our customers. We are now looking for the right person to join our team.
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
This is a key role supporting our consumer-facing mobile app. A tool thousands of Kiwis use every day to manage deliveries, track parcels, and interact with NZ Post. We're continuing to create and enhance NZ Post's consumer mobile app capabilities to enable effortless digital experiences for receivers and senders. Our focus is on making it easier for customers to self-serve on the go and tailoring the experience to better meet their individual needs.
You'll work closely with stakeholders, developers, a tester, and our in-house design and tech leads to plan, prioritise, and deliver work across the product. This is a blended role, you'll wear the Product Owner hat, but your BA skills will be just as important. You'll also help manage vendor relationships, budgets, and business case creation.

You might be a Product Owner with a knack for analysis, or a Business Analyst ready to step into product leadership. Either way, you're detail-driven, collaborative, and excited to improve customer experience at scale.
You'll be confident managing digital capabilities across various digital channels and have the ability to lead a product roadmap while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. As an innovative thinker you challenge the status quo and work collaboratively to deliver creative, engaging and intuitive digital solutions.
