Based at our Post Shop in Strathallan Street Timaru, our Mail Officer's process the mail and/or freight manually adhering to required sort rates, accuracy rates and finish times. You could be working in any part of the mail processing chain e.g., preparing mail, sorting, or dispatching it to the box lobby holders. 

We're a lively bunch, with a diverse set of skills, but we all share one common goal - to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our beautiful Aotearoa.

What we need from you: 

• Be available to cover shifts 5.30am to 9am Monday to Friday 
• Problem solving skills – can you think on the fly and find the best outcomes?
• Administration and data entry skills
• Confidence to interact with people from all backgrounds face to face, phone and email
