Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Reporting to our GM Cyber Security, you will lead the team that provides expert risk management, compliance and assurance for our technology environment. Working with a continuous improvement mindset this team maintain strong security governance, management and practices that improve our security standards and cyber security posture.
You'll be an active and influential member of our high performing team, and you'll provide reporting and information to the senior leadership team regarding current security status and potential threats. Your ability to influence and provide credible robust advice to make informed and smart risk based decisions will be a key part of your skills toolkit. This role owns and manages the NZ Post Technology Risk management process, collaborating with the Group Risk function.
Mōu - About you
You're a self-starter with strong experience within an Enterprise Risk Management and a deep understanding of standards and frameworks. You will have credible and engaging leadership skills and the ability to grow and develop your team of experts. Professional accreditations, such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, will be preferred, and it would be hugely beneficial if you have Cloud security certifications or experience.
We'll want you to demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills coupled with solid understanding of information security frameworks and working knowledge of Data Protection controls. It is imperative that you are also passionate about Cyber Security and have a drive to understand the ever-changing Threat Landscape.
