Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Due to an internal move, we are seeking applications for our Head of Data Enablement vacancy. The key purpose of this role is to translate the CSD operating strategy and target operating model into strategic data and technology requirements which add strategic value to our organisation.
This role is responsible for leading data enablement, simply helping our colleagues extract more value from data. It also manages the CSD centralised support channel on data and technology requirements. As a leader within the Data and Enterprise Architecture function, this role leads a team of data experts and is responsible for ensuring work coming through this team is effectively assigned and managed whilst providing an environment for the team to thrive and excel. This role holds key relationships throughout D&T and the wider organisation and is expected to contribute to CSD business planning processes and effectively work in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Mōu - About you
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will be able to demonstrate that you're well into your Data focussed career path, holding significant experience in technology, data science/analytics fields. Coupled with capable and tested leadership skills and experience.
You will have multiple years' experience in big data analytics, statistical methods and machine learning techniques in products or services businesses. Your stakeholder management skills will be top notch and you will be able to clearly demonstrate skills interpreting and explaining technical or complex information in plain English to a wide variety of senior stakeholders.
