Site Support Specialist – WSD
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Due to an internal promotion, we are now looking for a new Site Support Specialist to join the Wellington Super Depot team.
In this role you'll provide general administration and support services to the site leadership team. It's a varied role and will provide you with great insight into how the site operates whilst also contributing to its successful operation.
You'll be critical to providing our Facilities and Safety Manager with hands on support, ensuring the Wellington Super Depot always remains a safe environment to work within. This includes ensuring the site adheres to Health and Safety at Work regulations and delivers on our organisations Safety and Wellbeing plans and objectives.
You'll be the conduit between the Safety and Wellbeing Advisory Group (SWAG), frontline staff, operational leadership, and Safety and Wellbeing Business Partners (SWBP) ensuring that safety messages are communicated effectively with a commitment to our philosophy of ‘safety always'. Having such a hands-on role with multiple stakeholders will require someone who can demonstrate excellent relationship building skills and effective negotiation skills.

You'll have a passion for keeping our people safe on site, a real eye for detail and a customer focussed attitude. You'll couple this with a results focussed work ethic and a connection to our NZ Post values, with emphasis on being a team player.
You'll have a strong administrative background but enjoy working in a busy and operational environment. Most importantly you'll have good organisation and planning skills, the ability to work well under pressure, good computer literacy skills and great communication skills.
A clean full driver's license is also required as travel between our sites may be required.
