Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Reporting to the Senior Campaign Manager, we are looking for a Communications Specialist to join our Marketing team. This is a hands-on, critical role within the business, responsible for delivering exceptional communication materials across the business, ensuring they land in a customer focused and/or consumer-first way in line with our commercial needs and brand tone of voice.
You will be responsible for developing relevant, timely and on brand communications/collateral for a wide range of business and consumer channels including product, service and network updates for our website, email and social channels as well as business and trade communications, marketing collateral including brochures, letters, notifications, and at times help support broader marketing campaigns.
This role will work alongside a large number of stakeholders (including CEO and ELT level) to deliver end to end best in class communications. This is not just about writing exceptional copy, our team often juggle multiple requests from multiple parts of our business at any one time so this is also a strategic, at times ambiguous environment where you have a real ability to influence and improve the marketing communications we deliver to our customers.
Mōu - About you
As the ideal candidate for this role you'll be able to demonstrate experience in a communications role, ideally in a large and complex service or government environment. You'll have proven ability managing complex stakeholders, juggling competing priorities, and exceptional organisational and project management skills. We are open to what your previous experience might look like, but ideally you'll;
We pride ourselves on our collaborative and inclusive team spirit and therefore there may be a need to pitch in and help out across the wider Marcomms team at times of peak workload. A desire to want to further your career within Marketing therefore, is desirable.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Communications Specialist, with positive energy to support the business, someone who has a naturally optimistic outlook, and who can simply make things happen.
This role will be mainly based from our East Tamaki, Highbrook offices and we operate with a flexible working policy.
