Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
The key focus for you will be around servicing and maintaining our parcel sorting machinery, ensuring they are fit for purpose and meeting our operational needs. From fault finding and fixing issues as they arise to regular planned maintenance - this role covers it all, and you will use and develop a variety of technical engineering skills in the course of your day.
We are seeking EITHER a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, or an Electrical Maintenance Technician to fill this role
Mōu - About you
As either an experienced electrician or technician, you'll enjoy fault finding and be a practical problem solver who is calm and logical under pressure, ensuring any breakdowns get back on track as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

It goes without saying but we'll say it anyway, you'll also have a positive and flexible attitude and enjoy playing an important role in delivering what our customers care about - their precious mail and parcels!
Haora Mahi - Hours / Roster
A high degree of flexibility is needed to meet our rotating shift patterns, which will include varying days, afternoon and evening shifts, and a weekend shift on a rostered basis. You will be provided with either fortnightly or monthly notice of your roster to plan accordingly.
