Our International Business plays a number of key roles as part of New Zealand Post and in serving both our customers and broader stakeholders in NZ. As a country with a small domestic market, we import many of the consumer goods we enjoy, as well as many of the intermediate inputs that we use in the goods and services we produce. We also rely on access to bigger markets in which to sell what we produce.
In this role you'll join the team at International Freight Services, providing general administration support services to the Import team including customer service and coordinating inbound shipments. Our Operations Support Agent supports the team to function smoothly and achieve targets and objectives. Some of your key responsibilities will be:
We're looking for someone who has a strong desire to learn and grow and has very high levels of initiative. Helping the team to achieve their targets will require top notch organisational skills and the ability to work with accuracy under pressure and adapt to various tasks. Experience in a role supporting time-critical functions with professionalism and strong written and communication skills is essential.
