New Zealand Post has been a vital link for New Zealanders for over 170 years, and in the future, we will continue to be a trusted Kiwi company that helps customers succeed and helps New Zealand grow. The needs of our customers are ever-changing and happening faster every day - our team needs to be one step ahead of these changes and act quickly, knowing exactly how the network is performing and able to deliver for all of our customers.
We have a new opportunity for a permanent Retail Applications Analyst to join our Finance Systems team in Data & Technology. This is a busy, important role that will see you manage the overall stability, performance and delivery of the retail (POS) applications and related interfaces, and in doing so you will be a key connection between our IT suppliers and the business. With a mixture of BA and Service Delivery responsibilities, you will assist with the coordination and testing of upgrades to the retail applications, ensure all regular systems management activities are performed, and document and maintain current and new applications and systems support flows.
To succeed in this role you'll need to understand, to a super user level, the business processes that retail applications have been designed to support, you will be highly proactive and able to see how systems connect, how customers engage with systems, and what the impact to our business is if interfaces fail. You'll need to have strong relationship building skills and an appreciation of maintaining proactive communications with your stakeholders.
