New Zealand Post is an iconic Kiwi organisation with a rich history and a bright future. We are proud to be the #1 delivery business for New Zealand and we're working hard behind the scenes to build digital solutions that deliver a world class experience to senders and receivers alike.

Right now we're looking for a Solution Architect who has....

  • Fantastic engagement skills - you connect, communicate and influence stakeholders to build consensus on the best solution architecture for both immediate and strategic needs.
  • Experience developing solution architectures in a fast paced, ideally Agile, environment.
  • Knowledge across Business, Data, Application and Technology domains.
  • Ideally can bring to the table experience in Integration, Cloud, Security or Infrastructure.

And a bit about the role....

This is an interactive role where you'll engage with stakeholders to develop and communicate solution architecture for NZ Post. You'll take a pragmatic yet holistic view of the solution from Business, Data, Application and Technology perspectives, working closely with Domain and Enterprise Architects along the way. You'll provide input to your portfolio's strategic vision and ensure that your architecture is aligned to that vision as well as agreed patterns, standards and roadmaps. The initial focus of this role will be on a key retail program.

What NZ Post can offer you....

Our Architecture team is dynamic, fast paced and on a massive upward trajectory. We are dedicated to doing architecture properly and building a practice where all the best Architects want to work. You'll have the opportunity to advance your Architecture career with professional development and high impact projects galore, while also enjoying the work-life balance our flexible culture enables.

The salary package includes benefits such as additional KiwiSaver, extra annual and sick leave days, medical insurance, study assistance and more!

The role is primarily based in Highbrook with free onsite parking, however you'll have flexibility to work from our Parnell office or from home on occasion, and there will be regular travel to Wellington involved.

So, what are you waiting for? Apply today or to find out more, visit to download the JD. You can also contact Yvette Knight (Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist) on 0275463148 if you have further questions.

Applications close on 24th January 2020.
