At New Zealand Post, we're embarking on an exciting time of change, transformation and industry disruption. E-commerce is booming, which means the volume of parcels we process every day is growing rapidly. To ensure we future-proof for this continued growth, we have established a dedicated Programme Management Office (PMO) to support our strategic goals over the next 10 years.

Sortation Management is the process that determines the best way to sort letters and parcels from origin to destination - a core capability of the NZ Post network. While existing capability exists, we want to extend it via automated solutions that will be deployed as part of our overall network transformation programme.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, you'll lead the workstream that will procure, integrate and commission a new sortation solution across the automated NZ Post network. This covers the entire project lifecycle - from detailed requirements and data analysis, to concept development through to managing the procurement activities and vendor engagement and integration of existing and new systems. The result will be a fit for purpose solution that provides automated sortation to sites throughout New Zealand; delivered within time, quality and cost parameters.

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager who has implemented a sortation management and/or logistics automation solution. It's essential that your prior experience demonstrates a high degree of complexity - the delivery of a transformational, multi-site, sophisticated solution at scale. Your leadership skills are second to none - as you'll be influencing internal stakeholders, leading cross-functional project teams and managing external vendors. You'll also hold relevant practitioner qualifications, e.g. PMI, Prince2, Six Sigma, Agile.

Based in Highbrook (Auckland), an attractive salary and benefits package is on offer which includes additional KiwiSaver, extra annual and sick leave, medical insurance, a budget for your professional development and much more.

This is a career defining opportunity to lead a high-value project that will make a huge impact on the way NZ Post delivers to our customers. Our PMO team is dedicated, passionate and committed to making a difference - join us on this exciting journey.

Applications close 31st January 2020.

All applicants will be required to provide proof of their eligibility to work in New Zealand. Appointees will be subject to a security check.
