At New Zealand Post, we're embarking on an exciting time of change, transformation and industry disruption. E-commerce is booming, which means the volume of parcels we process every day is growing rapidly. To ensure we future-proof for this continued growth, we have established a dedicated Programme Management Office (PMO) to support our strategic goals over the next 10 years.

As Programme Manager in our newly established PMO, you'll manage a team of Project Managers within the Network Capabilities programme for successful delivery of projects on time, within scope and budget. Reporting to the Programme Director, you'll be a pivotal member of the programme leadership team. You'll lead and deliver strategic projects involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders across people, process and technology.

We're seeking a seasoned Programme Manager with experience managing complex, high dollar value programmes for large organisations. While experience in the postal industry would be a huge advantage, we understand this background is rare - so it's essential you have led a major supply chain change programme that involved the delivery of a sortation management and/or logistics automation solution. This is a major organisational change that will introduce an entirely new operating model - so you'll need to show us the battle scars of a programme you have led on an equivalent scale.

You're an inspirational leader who can clearly articulate a vision and influence key decision makers. Your strategic mind, strong commercial and financial acumen and excellent stakeholder engagement skills will ensure your success. You'll also hold relevant practitioner qualifications, e.g. PMI, Prince2, Six Sigma, Agile.

Based in Highbrook (Auckland), an attractive salary and benefits package is on offer which includes additional KiwiSaver, extra annual and sick leave, medical insurance, a budget for your professional development and much more.

This is a career defining opportunity to lead a high-value programme that will make a huge impact on the way NZ Post delivers to our customers. Our PMO team is dedicated, passionate and committed to making a difference - and this role is pivotal to our success.

Apply today or to find out more, visit NZ Post's Careers site - to download the JD. If you require additional information, contact Yvette Knight (NZ Post's Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist) on 0275463148.

Applications close 31st January 2020.

All applicants will be required to provide proof of their eligibility to work in New Zealand. Appointees will be subject to a security check.
