We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Area Service Delivery Manager to join the NZ Post team.  This is a challenging and important leadership role managing the CourierPost Christchurch site which is the largest courier hub in New Zealand, along with some provincial and rural contractors in Canterbury including a hub at Rolleston.

The role covers the distribution for both CourierPost and NZ Post products and services, with the primary responsibility of this role being leadership of the courier and postal teams within the region.  Key performance measures include commercial, service performance, productivity, safety results, people leadership and engagement. 

Key to your success will be your proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within an operational environment.  You'll be a true people leader, using your strong interpersonal skills to confidently lead, coach and motivate your team while quickly building trust, influencing and maintaining strong positive relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels. While not essential, experience in managing teams through change will be highly regarded.  Commercially, you'll have a good understanding of core revenue and profit drivers and be experienced with financial and budget management.  

Hours will typically be Monday to Friday, however, flexibility in working hours will be required recognising the business operates 24 hours 7 days a week. There will be a need to regularly visit all sites.
