  • Exciting, complex and rewarding project

Help us ensure the successful delivery of an exciting marketing project.

Around since 1840, New Zealand Post has a long history - and a great future. There are many of us - all involved in delivering what New Zealand cares about. Our eyes are firmly on the future and making sure we bring the best of it to our customers and communities.

What's the role?

Working within our Consumer Marketing and Brand team, this is an exciting marketing project that spans our entire business with external-facing outcomes.  You'll need to prioritise and manage the multiple workstreams made up of key areas and led by subject matter experts from within the business.  You'll be accountable for the project budget, all project assumptions, risks, reporting, and ensuring that the project is kept on track.  Stakeholder management and getting the business excited about being on this journey are crucial to this role.

What will you bring?

You are a person who builds credibility and develops strong relationships with ease.  You'll motivate the business to rally behind, and take ownership of, the project.  Influencing and managing outcomes through others will be second nature to you.  You'll be comfortable dealing with providing details to executive-level stakeholders one minute and championing the importance of the project to the business the next.

That's not all, you'll also need to demonstrate your ability to build timelines, crunch the numbers, and ensure the project stays on time and to budget.  A known deliverer, you will be skilled at finding ways to get to the goal posts even if they occasionally move.
