The opportunity

Our Sales Acquisition Team is responsible for growing, developing, implementing and championing New Zealand Post's domestic and International service offerings (encompassing Courier, Point to Point, Parcel Post and International). We are currently looking for a Business Manager/Key Account Manager to join our busy team!

This role will see you actively seeking out new customer opportunities whilst maximizing revenue and margin growth. You'll truly partner with these customers and develop solid relationships while seeking out new methods to provide additional customer orientated services that will provide new revenue streams for the business.

You will also be responsible for managing a small portfolio of select Key Accounts.

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you'll have proven experience in new business development and ideally be coming from a role that has allowed you to be well versed with the market.
Outstanding customer service and communication skills will be a given, and you'll be comfortable in an environment that allows you to be agile, adaptable and solutions orientated.
While a tertiary qualification is not a requirement, proven analytical, evaluative and problem solving skills will be essential.
