We are looking for you to partner with our business leaders to lift their capability of leading safety, creating a strong Safety and Wellbeing culture. You'll be welcomed into an iconic Kiwi organisation and work alongside a diverse range of employee groups across diverse sites nationwide. Not many organisations can offer this.
With your knowledge of New Zealand Health and Safety regulatory framework's and insight and experience, you will develop the systems, tools and resources to contribute positively to managing the safety and wellbeing of all NZ Post stakeholders.

To give you a flavour of your work, our two critical focus areas for our team right now are - the shift from the traditional postal delivery model to the new Paxsters; and the introduction of cutting-edge technology in our mail and parcel processing area. Our leaders need your support to enable them to promote our safety culture and policies, manage risks and incidents and provide meaningful analysis and reporting.

Hours will typically be Mon to Fri, however some flexibility may be required recognising the business operates 24 hours 7 days a week.

We'd love you to have a few of the following:

  • Experience and interest in taking ownership of projects
  • A genuine interest in people and comfort in building relationships with our leaders and external stakeholders; including unions and auditors.
  • Experience implementing and managing H&S technology solutions,
  • Sound knowledge of H&S legislation

We consider this role key for our safety initiatives and as such would welcome experienced practitioners.
