NZ Post's Auckland Operations Centre (AOC) handles 70% of our network's freight and is a state-of-the-art, fast paced, automated parcel processing site. We process 150,000+ items per day with 300+ people across a 6 day, 24 hour operation. We are proud of our people and processes at AOC which enable us to deliver what our customers care about.

Our AOC Processing Centre Manager has been seconded to an exciting strategic project, so we're looking for an experienced operational site leader to take the helm for the next 12 months. This is a challenging and unique role in an industry that is transforming and disrupting to meet the meteoric rise in e-commerce.

In addition to overall operational management of the site, there is huge opportunity for you to drive productivity and commercial performance and champion a high engagement culture with safety at the centre. There will be a focus on continuous improvement to ensure the site is equipped for future customer needs and you'll work closely with the wider National Processing team to grow performance and capability.

We're looking for a senior operational site leader with the ability to champion culture, safety and commercial performance. You'll need experience in a time critical, automated processing facility or within a wider supply chain / logistics context.
