So, what will I be doing?
This is an opportunity to work together with our Group Risk Manager and dedicated team of experts to provide advice, support and professional services to the business.

You will be enabling our people to service our customers, while working to practically mitigate operational, financial, legal/regulatory and reputational risk.
You'll do this by:

  • assisting the business to implement the risk management framework
  • educating the business on effective risk management and control assurance
  • maintaining NZ Post's risk profile
  • undertaking independent audits of financial, operational and technology processes and provide control advice to management and staff.

A bit about you:
Due to the nature of the work we do, key to your success will be your ability to engage and build effective, trusted relationships with people at all levels. Your professionalism, inter-personal savvy and skill in presenting an argument for change and improvement will be highly valued.
Of course, you will need to be financially commercially savvy, and have a solid background in the provision of internal and/or risk management services in a professional services firm or large commercial organisation.

You can adapt your approach to our constantly changing work environment. We do need you to be CA or CIA qualified and/or have an accreditation in risk management.
