About the role:

We are currently looking for a Property Manager to join the team, based in either Auckland or Wellington. In this role, you'll have a range of responsibilities including:

  • Manage and coordinate the workspace of the head office functions in NZ Post house
  • To drive and optimise the business' use of its Corporate office spaces across the country and assist other property managers with the same.
  • To manage a portfolio of primarily corporate office sites to achieve optimum lease, expense and risk profile, including maximising income from external sources and ensuring compliance with the provisions of relevant Acts.
  • To provide appropriate accommodation solutions for New Zealand Post business groups including input into strategic business projects on property related matters.
  • To manage property fit-out and alteration projects (below a defined size/complexity)


A bit about you:

Ideally, you'll have proven experience in corporate property management and a relevant tertiary qualification, although this position may also be suited to someone with significant business understanding coupled with solid project management experience. As a skilled negotiator and a confident communicator, you'll be able to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. We're looking for someone who is an energetic and organised self-starter, who acts with customers in mind whilst driving and delivering in a fast-paced environment. A good understanding of Excel and basic financial analysis skills may be advantageous.
