About NZ Post:

We're a diverse and vibrant organisation that has been integral to the Kiwi way of life for over 170 years.  We are continually evolving and developing to create a more agile, streamlined and coordinated business that will continue to meet the needs of our customers into the future.

About the role:

NZ Post's stamp and coin programme reflects New Zealand's culture, heritage, history and its people. The Programme and Content Manager's role within the Stamps and Coins team is to provide key customer insights and deliver a strategic stamp and coin programme. This will entail research, stakeholder engagement and relations, conceptual design, communications and delivery to market of high quality product that meets the business strategy and programme objectives. A key measurable for the role will ensuring revenue targets are met and costs are maintained within budget.

Working closely with institutional leaders, this position is responsible for mitigating the risk of errors and ensuring New Zealand Post operates within the strict regulatory (boundaries). In most instances, campaigns require collaboration and/or partnership with key interest groups, which can stretch across international lines. They are often high profile and can be a one-off coin product (eg. to celebrate the birth of a royal family member), or a more comprehensive stamp and collectable programme (eg. commemorating the WW1 centenary over a five-year period), which requires significant key stakeholder relations to be built and managed.

A bit about you:

To be successful in this role you will have thorough understanding of all elements of the marketing mix and have experience in content creation, copywriting, editing and proofing. We're looking for someone who is an energetic and organised self-starter, who acts with customers in mind whilst driving and delivering in a fast-paced environment.  You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to interact well with others and provide support to ensure the smooth running of your business function.

In return, we'll give you opportunity, development and the chance to make a significant difference in an organisation undergoing transformational change.
