Leading our Singapore hub operation, you and the team will be ground breaking for New Zealand Post. You will form part of our wider International Business unit, responsible for parcels, freight and letters that originate in or are being sent to (and from) countries outside of New Zealand. This is a unique sales leadership role within a fast-paced growing industry.

We see you leading the team, setting up the Singapore office and growing business from key customers and integrators whilst offering world class end to end supply chain services.
You'll be the type of person that loves achieving positive commercial outcomes through your leadership and partnership skills, and be tenacious enough to turn any market opportunity through to reality, developing and delivering solutions and working with complexities that eCommerce logisticss delivery can bring. You will have a proven track record of delivering hard bottom line results from the solutions you have delivered.

This is an awesome first for us, so we see this role evolving and a new team forming – of which you will be the key to unlock business potential through your excellent market understanding and relationship skills. You won't mind dealing with what comes in setting up a new office and will work with customers, partners, service providers and relevant contacts within NZ Post to establish and proactively act on opportunities for business growth and customer service enhancement. So, at times this can be challenging to juggle!

To help you with this, we have an amazing team in New Zealand and Australia complimented by global “Postal and Commercial Partnerships” that you will get to work with and gain support from.

Ideally, you will have previous success taking a lead role in the strategic development of a new market in the logistics and supply chain area, and will have significant experience in leading business development teams in Asia, Europe/UK.

The GM Singapore will also have an oversight of our Kuala Lumpur-based foreign customer technical service centre, and work with NZ Post's IT team to set service priorities. This includes accountability for service level agreements and performance at the service centre, as well as management of the expense in relationship to the customers served.
