Contract Logistics is New Zealand Post's Third Party Logistics business. We have warehouses in both Auckland and Christchurch as well as a Third Party facility in Palmerston North. We provide services to a wide range of customers from diverse sectors, providing e-Commerce and Enterprise solutions that fully integrate with New Zealand Post's extensive Courier and Bulk Distribution networks.

New Zealand Post's ‘Contract Logistics' business is growing at a furious pace, and by the end of 2018 the business will be twice the size it was a year ago.

It's also a business undergoing transformation, with the deployment of a new Oracle cloud-based Warehouse Management System that will improve the productivity and efficiency of the warehouses, and will enable a number of legacy systems to be decommissioned.

We are recruiting for a National Manager to lead our Third Party Logistics operations across the country. We are looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced day-to-day work environment, but can also manage and deliver large-scale change programmes.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Significant experience managing either a time sensitive and/or geographically disparate operation;
  • Demonstrated leadership in building a safety culture;
  • Liaison with customers at a senior and operational management level;
  • Relevant industry experience, such as transport or warehouse logistics;
  • Demonstration of change management;
  • Experience managing financial budgets.
