About the team:
Our International Business team is expanding and the team is ultimately responsible for all letters, parcels, and freight that originate in or are being sent to countries outside of New Zealand.  The team is predominantly based in NZ (Akld and Wgtn), with some in Australia and soon to be Singapore.

So what will I be doing?
You'll spend the majority of your time supporting our Chief International Business Officer – allowing him to free up his time to focus on the important stuff. He is part of the Senior Leadership Team at NZ Post, so as you can imagine, his role is pretty full on. But, we think the rest of the team is pretty important too, so you'll be helping them out with a variety of tasks. The majority of your role will focus on administration, including coordination of activity with other parts of the business; leadership team meeting support; event management (may also include hosting arrangements for customer visits or international visitors); proactive coordination of reporting; co-ordination and support for governance groups and drafting, editing and distribution of papers.

What makes this role great?
This will be your opportunity to learn – about us; about our international business; and get exposed to an amazing team of experts. You'll also get exposed to supporting at Tier 2 level as our CIBO reports directly to our CEO. We want you to feel part of a team, so it's your opportunity to get involved and make some work friends.

A bit about you:
You'll be the kind of person that people describe as ‘organised'. You'll love being one step ahead, anticipating and planning ahead. You'll probably have already found yourself in a support role – cos that's what you love to do! Our international team deals with a number of global partners, so you'll need to demonstrate your confidence to communicate and negotiate effectively with a wide range of people also.

In this role you will may privy to information of a commercial or sensitive nature, so high levels of confidentiality is essential.  And of course, it goes without saying that technically you'll have great skills across Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).

You could have gained these skills at Uni; in some part time capacity while studying; or have a couple of years of support under your belt.
