The Franchise Design & Performance team is the part of NZ Post which looks after the 'franchise system' for NZ Post delivery contractors - with responsibility for the ownership and development of our national contracts for service, contract pricing models and the supporting business systems and processes. 

We are looking for a switched-on, technology-savvy coordinator to step into this new role of Franchise Information Specialist.  The purpose of this position is to coordinate, organise and consolidate all our information relating to the franchise contract system and the services being provided by our external delivery contractors.

Your key responsibilities will be to ensure that information is appropriately translated, identified, consolidated, readily accessible and maintained for future use.  You'll be the point of ownership for this information, supporting customer information requests, and using your initiative to drive a culture of continuous improvement to ensure that our business systems and work practices are leading edge, fit for purpose and cost effective.

Key to your success in this position will be your previous experience in a communications or information management role, and sound knowledge of document management systems and project management or business improvement experience.  Exposure to Sharepoint, Crystal Reports and /or Business Objects would be an advantage.

You'll have excellent numerical and analytical skills and love the idea of jumping into a completely new role and making it your own.  You'll need to be comfortable and excited by setting up your own processes and have an exceptional work ethic.  You'll thrive when working with people, have great communication skills and a desire to get stuck in and solve problems using your own initiative, with great attention to detail.
