New Zealand Post's International Logistics team is experiencing phenomenal success and growth on the world stage. We're currently seeking a New Business Specialist, fluent in Mandarin, to champion our international freight product suite in various global markets.

This is a brilliant opportunity to engage with both current and prospective international customers, and build relationships with stakeholders across the NZ Post group. Identifying new business opportunities via targeted online research and trade show networking, you'll sell bespoke solutions from NZ Post's vast product and service suite. To be successful you'll need strong commercial acumen, understanding of supply chain and the tenacity to follow through from initial engagement to solution implementation.

The role also has a product management component which involves negotiating contracts, reviewing pricing models, analysing product viability and championing the product suite via full use of the marketing mix. The role will draw heavily on your analytical and problem solving skills to drive revenue growth.

You'll possess a natural flair for relationship building across all levels of the corporate structure and the confidence to represent our brand at trade shows and hosting overseas guests. You'll take a strategic approach, drawing on your understanding of your customers' businesses, global markets, economic influences and the competitive advantage that differentiates NZ Post from other global logistics players.

We're seeking a polished networker with written and spoken Mandarin language skills in a business context. Your background will demonstrate B2B, international sales and marketing experience and an understanding of supply chain and e-commerce.

Based in Auckland, this role has the option to be based at our Highbrook or Airport sites. Reporting to a passionate and progressive management team, an attractive salary and benefits package is on offer and opportunities for future career progression. This role requires the availability to undertake international travel.

This is an exciting time to join NZ Post as we undergo rapid transformation and international expansion. Contact Yvette Knight (Talent Sourcing Specialist) on 09 367 9973 to find out more, or apply online today. Applications close on Friday 2nd June.

All applicants will be required to provide proof of their eligibility to work in New Zealand. Appointees will be subject to a security check and may be required to undertake drug and / or credit checks.
