New Zealand Post Group is an iconic Kiwi organisation entering an exciting phase of evolution. We’re looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to join our integrated risk team to work with our customers to manage the risks and opportunities in a fast changing competitive commercial environment.  Our focus is on delivering quality assurance services and control advice to assist in the implementation of new services, as well as safe guarding our existing control environment.


You’ll get the opportunity to work right across the spectrum – we undertake operational, financial and Information Technology audits. We have a really diverse range of operational environments.  We are focused on change that’s going on within the business and assessing the best ways to mitigate risk going forward, and we still have reporting responsibilities to the NZ Post Board.

Who are we looking for?

  • We’re not just looking for a desk auditor – we’re all about our customers, so we need a great communicator, comfortable dealing with a wide range of people at all levels  
  • 5+ years’ experience in assurance and risk/internal audit
  • Ability to look at complex tasks and processes and break them down
  • Results focussed and proactive
  • Data analytics experience especially with ACL
  • A commerce degree and professional accounting or auditing membership would be an advantage.
